Anna's POV

Ever since the argument that happened between me and Alpha Jasper, he hasn't returned to the chambers, causing me a great deal of worry in the process.

Each time I reviewed what had happened between us in my head, I never for once saw why Alpha Jasper reacted the way he did.

If he had been in my shoes, I bet he would have reacted the same way. For crying out loud, the issue involved my friend who had just lost her childhood friend.

Because of this, I couldn't sit back and watch. I didn't have to be in her shoes to know that she was hurted with everything that had happened and the least I could do as a friend was to comfort her in the time of her grief.
