Anna's POV

“Anna…” mother called but I raised my hand above my head, sending the rest of her words back into her mouth.

If I had known her mission here was to spew something of this sort, I wouldn't have come to see her.

At this point, I was contemplating on letting her know the reason Alpha Jasper had gone to war against the Crestwolf pack since she must have heard of it but because I didn't want to push her away from the palace, I swallowed everything in.

“Mom, I think you should just stop here.” I said with a low tone. Holding her shoulders, I stared deep into her eyes but I couldn't bring myself to say a word to her.

The only thing ringing in my head was Alpha Noah's death and the moment I parted my lips, I knew I was going to tell her everything and she in turn would be scared.
