Sebestian was lucky since the day he met Ash, from when they were friends and after having another type of relationship, he has always managed to convince him easily. This time, instead of getting a negative response or silly excuses, the only thing Sebestian received from her ex-husband was a sigh of surrender.
The moment Jai left the room with his shoes on and a small backpack on his back, Ash took his son hand and lead him outside, making his way to the front door. He struggled a bit because of all the things he carried with him, at least until Sebestian rushed to help him carry Ash pile of folders and diary.
When it was time to get inside the car, Ash things were placed in the back seats of Sebestian car, the furthest from the car seat where Ash was of placing Jai carefully, his son is keep quite still and watching with full attention towards his father like Ash is doing some impossible thing. When Ash caught sight of his little boy's attentive gaze, he returned his gaze, giving him a warm smile. The moment Ash adjusted the belt around Jai, he raised his son hands to reach his father's face, gently pulling him until he managed to leave a small kiss on Ash cheek. As a good father who love his son more than anything, Ash smiled widely and did not hesitate for a single second to return the kiss repeatedly, leaving a few on the soft and plump cheeks, one on the tip of the nose and the last on the forehead. .
After that sweet moment, he carefully closed the car door, then got into the passenger seat. Sebestian was already sitting behind the wheel, with his seatbelt tight, he ready started the car when everyone settle. Sebestian is sending messages waiting for Ash to properly buckle up, while looking his face anyone can tell it's not about work at all because of the warm smile in his lip when he is sending message.
"So how is Allen?"
Sebestian started laughing a little nervously, put the phone aside and started the car. His new partner's subject is Ash favorite, all because of the alpha's reactions. He really does not like the idea that Ash wants to meet his current partner; God, they are ex-husbands, it will be so strange.
It's not like Allen hate Ash or Ash hate Allen. It's just not feel right. But if one day Ash will have his own partner he will sure fix their meetings.
The drive to the Cole enterprise was not bad , Ash was much calmer, the fact that Sebestian drives him to work is really a new thing, they never had a realtionship like this. Between talks, calls and the occasional discussion they reached their destination. The car stopped right in front of the huge building in the center of the city, setting the turn signals to get off next to Ash, in order to help him unload all the things that the Omega has with him that day.
"Thanks for bringing me, I owe you one."
"Just invite me to dinner the next time your place and I will be your full-time driver."
Ash chuckled lightly, Sebestian on the shoulder." Don't tempt me —" after saying that, he said goodbye from outside to Jai, who waved his hand with great energy in front of the window. The omega blew a couple of kisses towards his cub, smiling wide every time the little one repeated his actions. He looked back at Sebestian and without much thought leaned over to kiss his cheek as a goodbye. "Old customs that are not forgotten -. Don't give Jai candy."
"It's a suggestion?" Sebestian asked playfully, as he watched Ash walk away at a rather hurried inside the buliding.
Without knowing that someone watching them with range in his eyes.
"It is a warning!"
With that Sebestian laughed to his ex-husband, getting into the car to leave the place.
Ash rushed into the building's as fast as he can, bumping into several people on his way to the elevator. He heard the occasional greeting from the workers in other sections of the magazine and from the pretty receptionist, always smiling and being very friendly. He could barely answer a couple of greetings, bowing his head as he passed the magazine's chief editor. It may not be his direct boss, but he always try to show respect to the everyone.
He managed to get someone to stop the elevator for him, thanked him more than once, and heaved a huge sigh of relief, hitting the button that indicated he was going to the top floor. What would have happened to him if he didn't get into the elevator? God, going up more than 50 floors would be fucking shit.
"Someone's late." A soft, singsong voice made him jump, he immediately turned to look at who it was Warne.
"You are never late, especially when there was an important meeting."
"I stayed up late finishing a project. I woke up with the message that the meeting was an hour and a half early, you can imagine how everything turned out after that."
"Your house must be upside down."
"You can't imagine it, Warne."
Warne just laughed, shaking his head at everything Ash told him. Warne is a couple of years older than him, he works in the design part of the magazine, being the main graphic designer; It is not a coincidence that Ash grew so close to him, as a graphic design student he was very excited about Warne position in the magazine. Both Ash and Warne put aside their shy personalities and managed to form a friendship in such a short time (the two months that Ash has been working there).
Thanks God, there was only four people in the elevator (besides Ash), it was not long at all to get to their destination. Both he and Warne came down on the same floor, the one where there were only a few offices and two fairly large board-rooms; Warne helped Ash with things, since Warne was carrying nothing more than a huge folder with the designs that he would propose today at the meeting. It should be noted that Ash was dying to see that folder.
"Just for a few minutes you could hear the presentation, you don't need to worry."
"Do I put this on your desk or ...?"
"That's fine, I have a couple of things to check before ..."
"Ash? If it's you, please come inside the office. It's late!"
"-.. talk to the boss."
Warne bit his lip to keep from laughing at Ash reaction to the call coming from within the large main office.
"Oh, Mr. Cole must be angry." The shorter one, who successfully held back his laughter, raised his thumbs in front of Ash, whispering his luck and then leaving.
Ash gulp and look towards Mr. Adom Cole office.
When he entered inside his boss office, Ash shrugged where he stands, letting out a most nervous sigh. His boss tone is not very pleasant for his ears and it's first time when Mr. Cole using his cold one towards him.
Well it's not that he was afraid to him! Mr. Cole always talk with soft voice with him, but Ash heard how he has some moments in which, without using his command voice, he made the whole building shake. With nervous steps he hurried into the office, taking only the huge sign. He knocked on the door a couple of times, receiving a positive response so he can enter inside the office.
He stumbled a little as he stepped into the doorframe, muttered a curse in a very low voice, looking around the office. He find himself lucky when he see only Adom inside the office, not someone else.
Adom Cole, CEO of Cole interprise, current owner of Leisure Fusion magazine . Highborn Alpha, Bangkok's most wanted bachelor. It's a dream come true, if you ask anyone, omegas or betas and some alphas agree, he is a great match. Ash is part of the list of omegas who appreciate the beauty of their boss, but prefers not to say anything about it.
"For a moment I thought you wouldn't make the meeting."
"I'm sorry, I had a couple of problems, that's why I am late today sir."
Standing by a large wooden desk is none other than Adom, flipping through the contents of a black folder. His body is bent slightly on the desk, while he take down some things on the sheets inside the folder. Adom approaches at a rapid pace, standing next to his boss with the intention of seeing what he is doing, since he rarely finds him writing things down with pencil and paper; that's usually a Adom thing.
"Don't apologize, the important thing is you're here Ash. The folders with have some important information on everything is being ready for this month's magazine are ready as they informed me, I need you to review them and then take them to the meeting room. You already know how it's work, right?"
Adom looked at Ash for the first time, looking him straight into his eye, then giving him a more wired look in a slightly sneaky way. Adom relaxed his harsh expression a little, giving Ash a sly smile. He reached his hand up to lightly touch the fabric of the jean jacket Ash was wearing.
"Nice jacket," he speaks in a calm voice, without taking his eyes off the garment, noticing a small stain on the chest of the garment. Although it is a bit dirty.
'Seriously? He need to stop staring Mr. Cole but he can't help it. He had been staring at Mr. Cole handsome face for a hole minutes, then Ash curse inside his mind and look down.
He pulled on the fabric until he found the stain and sure enough, it look like a strain something like red paint.
"Oh Jai. The boy had been painting with the new brushes Sebestian had bought for him for two days, so it's no surprise that he got stained with paint. Hell, I don't think it'll come off... "he hissed after trying to scrape the dried paint off the fabric.
Ash heard Adom laugh, pulling him completely out of his thoughts, which were of the possible detergents he could use to try to remove the stain. He looked forward again, how lucky he was to be so tall, so he didn't have to lift his head to look at Adom's face. They are close, not much but they are quite close. The closeness is not annoying, Adom is a good and respectful boss, never getting closer than he should, or making inappropriate comments. He is same like his ex husband, Sebestian. Adom smiles sideways, tilting his head slightly. "I'll have to wash it later." Taking a step back, he made a couple of movements with his arms to remove his jacket. "I'll go through the folders and check all of them, I will inform you if I find anything , good day Mr. Cole." Adom opened his mouth to say something, but he hesitated so he preferred to keep quiet. He waved his hand, signalling to Ash so he can go and do his work. They can't waste more time, not when the meeting going to start in
The moment Adom went down the elevator, Ash excused himself to both beta and omega who he was talking, lying about he need to go to the bathroom. He walked at a hurried pace to the toilets and when he was inside, he verified that he was free of any other presence; after that, he rushed to call Sebestian to inform him of his early departure. Ash held his cell phone carefully as he wait for Sebestian answer. Ash is actually lucky, Sebestian answer his call instantly, Ash listen how Sebestian talking to someone else before he start speaking to him. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt?" Ash murmurs in a nervous voice, the last thing he wanted to cause any problem for Sebestian. "Not at all, it's just Man. We are practically sharing our cabin today, at least since he found out that I brought Jai with me. What's going on? Ar
After their dinner with Man and Jack Sebestian drop Ash and his son Jai to their apartment. It's pretty late when he came back to his place and he is sure Allen is missing him like a crazy kitten missing his mouse. Both him and Allen are like Flex Glue. Not even water could separate them. No matter how hard you tried, they’d always find some excuse to be together. That, of course, is before Allen was forced to go on his company. No one other than but him. Not even his younger brother who is Alpha. Sebestian remember the particular weekend meeting. Allen was going to attend metting . Three days without Allen seems simple enough except for the fact that they are literally a mess without each other. Sebestian huff and change his clothes whenever he think abou
Adom has known for years now that Ash would be the death of him one day. He just never imagined that it would go down like this, with Ash sitting on Adom desk, asking Adom to consider having sex with him. "You're actually serious?" Ash nods. "As death," he says. Adom stares at him, and prays that he's going to wake up from this absurd dream soon. "Think about it!" Ash leans closer. "We've got to do this anyway at some point, and honestly, I'd rather do at you over anyone else in this place." Adom pinches himself discreetly. It hurts. He really isn't dreaming; Ash is finally trying to murder him. It's...harder than Ash expected it to be, having Adom around him all the time and getting to do all sorts of things with and to Adom , but not being able to kiss him. In his defence away from Adom is a very long time, long enough for all the immunity he used to have built up against all these urges to kiss Adom to be completely useless now. And besides, Adom at twenty-five is markedly
It starts the way all of Zack start — with Seth at the forefront of things, acting as the catalyst. In this situation, specifically, it starts when Seth asks loudly, in front of everybody, at the biweekly sibling dinner Zack hosts, “So when are you going to make an honest man out of our Zack?” Zack stills where he is reaching out to pass the plate of stir-fry eggplants to Seth to stop him from continuing to whine over how they’ve set the table up with his favourite dish the furthest away from him. Rose, Seth sitter ends up taking the plate over from Seth, smiling as she shakes her head. “Don’t tease him, Seth,” she chides gently. “It’s not like that,” Seth tells Rose, scowling. It’s not the first time Seth has made similar suggestions, but it’s one thing to ignore Rose jesting when it’s just between them, and another when they’re not the only ones present, and Seth words could be taken the wrong way. Rose has been living with Seth for the last three years. She’s a much better hou
"What do you mean I can't?" Ash asked, following Warne out of the Adom home office and into the living room. "You know exactly what I mean. We've talked about this before," Warne sighed without looking back at Ash, as he crouched down to rifle through a box of files placed near the living room couch. Brandishing the papers for his work permit application that he was holding like it was some sort of secret weapon he could convince Warne with, Ash replied, "But the application deadline is only two weeks away, and then I won't be able to apply until next year." "There's nothing wrong with waiting it out and applying next year," Warne replied patiently, but frankly, Ash was in no mood for patience, so he frowned, "But why can't I just apply now?" Standing up with a file in his hand, Warne finally looked at him, "I really don't want to have this conversation with you again. I already told you that you should focus on your classes. Not in company" "I can work and study at the same time,
"I didn't, because Warne would have said no," Adom shrugged casually. "You're incorrigible, puppy," Ash shook his head, disapproving, but also amused. "I don't know what that word means, so I'm going to take it as a compliment." Ash laughed at that, snacking Adom in the arm again, and Adom just tittered, "Hey, kitty, your ears, they're doing that funny thing again!" That earned Adom another smack, which had Adom muttering about how poorly he was treated, but he was making that funny face he often made, which had Ash laughing even harder. And somehow, Ash felt small again, as small as a carefree omega, but the world felt big, teeming with endless possibilities. It was three days before the application deadline, that Warne finally agreed to letting Ash apply for work authorization. It had taken Ash relentlessly badgering Warne for eleven days straight...and it had also taken a discussion that Adom had had with Warne early in the morning one day, when Ash was sleeping, and that A
Ash relationship with Warne become really different now, when he start dating Adom then only he got to know about Adom and Warne realtionship. Warne is Adom cousin and not everyone know about it. But problem, with him was that he was weird. Warne start giving him special treatment and even brought ice-cream in one day, out of the blue, and simply said that he'd be staying with them from now on, no explanations given. That had been weird enough on its own, but then he'd been so weird, too. First, he smiled for absolutely no reason whatsoever at everything, which Ash simply could not understand. And then, then, really, the worst thing he'd done, in Ash opinion, and that he'd done in like, thirty seconds of being introduced to Ash, was hug him, for no reason whatsoever, and chirp out a loud and overly energetic, "Hi, kitty!" Ash had been so confused at that, at first, but then he'd been annoyed, because he wasn't letting Ash go anywhere and didnt let him work, in fact Ash was sure he w
