Ash heard Adom laugh, pulling him completely out of his thoughts, which were of the possible detergents he could use to try to remove the stain. He looked forward again, how lucky he was to be so tall, so he didn't have to lift his head to look at Adom's face.
They are close, not much but they are quite close. The closeness is not annoying, Adom is a good and respectful boss, never getting closer than he should, or making inappropriate comments. He is same like his ex husband, Sebestian.
Adom smiles sideways, tilting his head slightly.
"I'll have to wash it later." Taking a step back, he made a couple of movements with his arms to remove his jacket.
"I'll go through the folders and check all of them, I will inform you if I find anything , good day Mr. Cole."
Adom opened his mouth to say something, but he hesitated so he preferred to keep quiet. He waved his hand, signalling to Ash so he can go and do his work. They can't waste more time, not when the meeting going to start in less than half an hour.
As Adom was alone, he did nothing but relax his shoulders and run a hand over his back neck. The last week always been most heavy day's in the month, especially due to the problem with Cole interprise interview, although that problem will be fixed in a couple of days, when he will arrange a meeting with Allen. On top of that, he had a couple of issues with some of his high-ranking employees, even though the problem is not really just employees, but some of his friends too who are working for him. Seriously at this point Adom was confused as hell, what the hell he should do?
Adom has been stressed since early morning, having to advance his meetings today was the most horrible and on the top of that Ash was not in office earlier was also a bad for him. His young assistant, who had only been working for him for a short time, was the only person who managed to reduce the workload. Now Ash is in the same building as him, the weight on his shoulders would be less.
Adom walked over to the long L-shaped chair he had overlooking the large window of his office. Taking a seat on the comfortable black chair, with his eyes on the blue sky, full of fluffy clouds. He liked this view, it was nice and it gave him great peace just looking out of the window. He appreciates the good taste of the designer he hired when he renovate his office.
Adom rested his head on the back of the sofa, turning toward the wall that separates the office from the rest of the place. Just behind that wall is Ash desk, who must be nose-deep in the board folders.
No, Adom never abuse his power over Ash, he knows that the boy can take the tasks he gives him, Ash has shown it since he started working. If it's a lie, Adom never hired hil in first place.
'I'll give you a few days off next week, for the effort you're putting in.' Ash is sure to appreciate having time off for the college assignments you need to do. Adom himself knew what it is like to work and study at the same time, and he is aware of how heavy the work of the last semesters becomes.
He looked at the time on the clock, there are less than ten minutes left before the meeting begins, so he chooses to stand up, walking to the bathroom at the end of his office, all to verify that everything is in order. with their appearance.
Lately he has been unwell, surely he got a dark circles under his eyes.
Adom is sure when his mother sees him like, she is going to nag.
Adom spent a few minutes in the bathroom, leaving the door open as he checked his reflection in the mirror above the sink. He ran his middle finger under his right eye, where a gray shadow began to show. Without stop looking at his reflection, he takes the lotion that he always keeps in his office from the left side on the cabinet, placing a little on his neck and chest, covering his natural scent as he usually does when he has meetings with his staff, to avoid all inconvenience.
It's a rule that both he and his employees must follow, cover their scents to avoid problematic scenarios in the future.
When he returns to the center of his office, he can hear Jack voice, who sounds quite animated talking Adom's assistant. The latter approaches the wall that separates him from the others as soon as possible, listening to that typical flirtatious tone that Jack uses since Adom has known him. Although the other seems to be trying to speak quietly, Adom can clearly hears what he is speaking.
"So how your boss treat you today? I heard you were late, surely Adom was freaking out without you, Ash."
"You're exaggerating, Mr. Adom was pretty calm when I arrived."
"Didn't he scold you?"
"Not at all, I thought he would. After all I must be here before he arrives, so maybe I should have received
scolding."
Jack lets out a stupid laugh, the CEO can imagine the posture Jack must have in those moments, leaning over Ash desk, resting his hands on the glass surface and still staring at the omega. Oh shit.
"I don't think he dares scold you, and if that happens, let me know and I'll make ..."
Before Jack can even continue, Adom opened the office door wide, stepping out while adjusting his tie around his neck. His eyes were on the two people chatting. He was right when he think about Jack posture, practically covering the hole desk, with Ash sitting behind the tower of black folders. The latter jumped when Ad.opened the door.
"Jack, the boardroom is over there." He points to the door a few feet from them.
"Don't worry, I'm done just going through the folders." Ash was gesturing to stand.
"I better take them to the boardroom, some people are already there."
Both Adom and Jack watch as Ash get on his feet, grabbing the folders as quickly as possible and speeding towards the boardroom. Adom, who catches Jack staring at Ash without missing a beat, Adom slaps the back of his friends head, earning a loud laugh from him. Needless to say, Jack loves to upset Adom, especially when it comes to Ash.
"Relax man, I was just talking to him."
"Shut up and hurry."
After saying this Adom walks into his room, looking tense and somehow annoyed. If someone who is not close to him comes to see him in this posture, he will surely think that his mood is not good for meeting, but Jack knows his friend well.
Jack laughs again, repeatedly shaking his head as he rushes to catch up his friends. After all it was time for work, he can play this game another time..

The meeting had gone wonderfully, it's something that cannot be denied, all the heads of the different areas were incredible, Adom was extremely proud that his staff knew how to pleased him when it comes to his magazine, the design, themes, advertising the other brands. The entire magazine is worthy of remaining in the top three best-selling magazines in their country and it's all beacuse of his staff hard-work.
They talk about the new theme and put on the table, everything is deserves and the possible change of design on the cover of the magazine. It's was actually interested for Adom. In a few months they will celebrate anniversary of their company and the upcoming success of their magazine, so a very important event is approaching for them which gave their company big impact from the media, and ofcourse to the other large magazines and companies that are rivals of Cole's. The design area gave him several draft of what could be the image of the magazine in several months, all for the anniversary, so Adom review all them in time so he can choose or order them to redesigned.
And as always when they discussing everything in the meeting, Adom can feel as he watch how Ash hesitate whether he try to.
Ash seems to have an ideas, but prefers not to say infront of them because of the present of all boards members. At least that's what Adom is thinking, and he is sure it's not because of Ash is sacred about how his boss is going to react.
Don't blame him, everyone knows what Alpha bosses are usually like when it comes to listening to an Omega. And that's not the impression Adom want to have on Ash, of course not.
After meeting was over Adom want to talk to Ash. He need to tell talk Ash about him being different ..., but it's already late.
The reason why he didn't get a time to talk Ash beacuse he is getting late for dinner. Yea today Adom mother had invited him to dinner. A family dinner, with a few friends and family, because they have didn't meet eachother and mostly didn't have their typical family dinne, Adom really don't want disappoint his mother, beacuse for him it's really important. When it's come to his family Adom can cancel all his metting, his family is important for him.
Adom turn off his computer, standing up while he saw that everything was in order on his desk. He walked to the coat rack between the desk and the wall to his left, taking his blue jacket from it, putting it on as he headed out. He had only his cell phone with him, since he had nothing pending at the moment and would be back on Saturday morning anyway.
When Adom left, he see Ash talking with two people from the design area. He give his charming smile to them.
"Oh, you are going already sir?"
"Yeah, I need to attend a family dinner in a few hours, so I have to go. You can also go home Ash, I'll see you on Monday."
Ash bit his lower lip, keeping his smile that threatened to show his excitement to his boss knowing that he can go home early and he can play with Jai for a while.
"Okay, thank you." He nodded his head making a small gratitude.
"You must call Sebestian to pick you up sooner."
Adom bids farewell to the other two present, glancing a few more times at Ash, smiling at Ash shinning eyes when he knew he was going home early. Part of Adom telling him to give offer to drive Ash home, his alpha instinct is yelling at him. And on the other hand, his rational part tells him to go away and stop thinking nonsense.
If Ash had been alone, surely Adom think about it.
But Adom know he is not.
Maybe for another time?
Or maybe not.
The moment Adom went down the elevator, Ash excused himself to both beta and omega who he was talking, lying about he need to go to the bathroom. He walked at a hurried pace to the toilets and when he was inside, he verified that he was free of any other presence; after that, he rushed to call Sebestian to inform him of his early departure. Ash held his cell phone carefully as he wait for Sebestian answer. Ash is actually lucky, Sebestian answer his call instantly, Ash listen how Sebestian talking to someone else before he start speaking to him. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt?" Ash murmurs in a nervous voice, the last thing he wanted to cause any problem for Sebestian. "Not at all, it's just Man. We are practically sharing our cabin today, at least since he found out that I brought Jai with me. What's going on? Ar
After their dinner with Man and Jack Sebestian drop Ash and his son Jai to their apartment. It's pretty late when he came back to his place and he is sure Allen is missing him like a crazy kitten missing his mouse. Both him and Allen are like Flex Glue. Not even water could separate them. No matter how hard you tried, they’d always find some excuse to be together. That, of course, is before Allen was forced to go on his company. No one other than but him. Not even his younger brother who is Alpha. Sebestian remember the particular weekend meeting. Allen was going to attend metting . Three days without Allen seems simple enough except for the fact that they are literally a mess without each other. Sebestian huff and change his clothes whenever he think abou
Adom has known for years now that Ash would be the death of him one day. He just never imagined that it would go down like this, with Ash sitting on Adom desk, asking Adom to consider having sex with him. "You're actually serious?" Ash nods. "As death," he says. Adom stares at him, and prays that he's going to wake up from this absurd dream soon. "Think about it!" Ash leans closer. "We've got to do this anyway at some point, and honestly, I'd rather do at you over anyone else in this place." Adom pinches himself discreetly. It hurts. He really isn't dreaming; Ash is finally trying to murder him. It's...harder than Ash expected it to be, having Adom around him all the time and getting to do all sorts of things with and to Adom , but not being able to kiss him. In his defence away from Adom is a very long time, long enough for all the immunity he used to have built up against all these urges to kiss Adom to be completely useless now. And besides, Adom at twenty-five is markedly
It starts the way all of Zack start — with Seth at the forefront of things, acting as the catalyst. In this situation, specifically, it starts when Seth asks loudly, in front of everybody, at the biweekly sibling dinner Zack hosts, “So when are you going to make an honest man out of our Zack?” Zack stills where he is reaching out to pass the plate of stir-fry eggplants to Seth to stop him from continuing to whine over how they’ve set the table up with his favourite dish the furthest away from him. Rose, Seth sitter ends up taking the plate over from Seth, smiling as she shakes her head. “Don’t tease him, Seth,” she chides gently. “It’s not like that,” Seth tells Rose, scowling. It’s not the first time Seth has made similar suggestions, but it’s one thing to ignore Rose jesting when it’s just between them, and another when they’re not the only ones present, and Seth words could be taken the wrong way. Rose has been living with Seth for the last three years. She’s a much better hou
"What do you mean I can't?" Ash asked, following Warne out of the Adom home office and into the living room. "You know exactly what I mean. We've talked about this before," Warne sighed without looking back at Ash, as he crouched down to rifle through a box of files placed near the living room couch. Brandishing the papers for his work permit application that he was holding like it was some sort of secret weapon he could convince Warne with, Ash replied, "But the application deadline is only two weeks away, and then I won't be able to apply until next year." "There's nothing wrong with waiting it out and applying next year," Warne replied patiently, but frankly, Ash was in no mood for patience, so he frowned, "But why can't I just apply now?" Standing up with a file in his hand, Warne finally looked at him, "I really don't want to have this conversation with you again. I already told you that you should focus on your classes. Not in company" "I can work and study at the same time,
"I didn't, because Warne would have said no," Adom shrugged casually. "You're incorrigible, puppy," Ash shook his head, disapproving, but also amused. "I don't know what that word means, so I'm going to take it as a compliment." Ash laughed at that, snacking Adom in the arm again, and Adom just tittered, "Hey, kitty, your ears, they're doing that funny thing again!" That earned Adom another smack, which had Adom muttering about how poorly he was treated, but he was making that funny face he often made, which had Ash laughing even harder. And somehow, Ash felt small again, as small as a carefree omega, but the world felt big, teeming with endless possibilities. It was three days before the application deadline, that Warne finally agreed to letting Ash apply for work authorization. It had taken Ash relentlessly badgering Warne for eleven days straight...and it had also taken a discussion that Adom had had with Warne early in the morning one day, when Ash was sleeping, and that A
Ash relationship with Warne become really different now, when he start dating Adom then only he got to know about Adom and Warne realtionship. Warne is Adom cousin and not everyone know about it. But problem, with him was that he was weird. Warne start giving him special treatment and even brought ice-cream in one day, out of the blue, and simply said that he'd be staying with them from now on, no explanations given. That had been weird enough on its own, but then he'd been so weird, too. First, he smiled for absolutely no reason whatsoever at everything, which Ash simply could not understand. And then, then, really, the worst thing he'd done, in Ash opinion, and that he'd done in like, thirty seconds of being introduced to Ash, was hug him, for no reason whatsoever, and chirp out a loud and overly energetic, "Hi, kitty!" Ash had been so confused at that, at first, but then he'd been annoyed, because he wasn't letting Ash go anywhere and didnt let him work, in fact Ash was sure he w
"Hey, kitty, I found this--wait, are you crying?" "Leave me alone," Ash had mumbled, hastily wiping away his tears and trying to get around Adom to get to the parking space where his bike was, but grabbing his shoulders and peering at his face, Adom had asked, "Why are you crying, kitty, what's wrong?" "Nothing's wrong," Ash had huffed out, annoyed at Adom and also annoyed at the fact that his tears just wouldn't stop coming, but Adom just wouldn't budge. "You're crying. Something has to be wrong if you're crying." "You're what's wrong!" Ash had yelled, uncaring that he was out in public, but even then, Asom hadn't moved. He had frowned and stepped back, and just as Ash had moved to get around him, he'd asked, "You don't like it when I admited Jai to new school, do you?" Ash had just glared at Adom at that idiotic question of his, but Adom had smiled in response, "That's okay. You're still my boyfriend, kitty." "I'm not your boyfriend, and I hate you, and I wish Jai never talk to
