Still more than a little awe-struck, Violet followed her father into the warehouse with Jeremy or well, Morgan following behind her
As they walked through the warehouse, that reminded Violet a lot like the first one Morgan had taken her to, Violet tried to get her dad to say something, but he didn’t even acknowledge that he’d heard her. Her stomach twisted as she followed him, casting furtive glances at the warehouse in itself. The people there stared at Violet like she’d done something to piss them off. Others hid whatever they were working on as she passed. Something about all of this didn’t feel right. How was her dad alive when she saw the werewolves shoot him. She saw his lifeless body as the others took her away.
Finally, her dad took her to what looked to be like an office. The windows were covered with what looked like brown pape

It had been a few days and Violet couldn’t shake the feeling she was just another prisoner. She was constantly followed by the big silent werewolf, not allowed to go outside, and she hardly saw her father. When Violet did see him, he tried to act like everything since that night of the attack hadn’t happened, and they were living an absolutely normal life. If she asked any questions he’d get angry and leave. When the big silent type wasn’t paying too much attention, Violet tried to eavesdrop on the conversations, however, she couldn’t pick up much. Though, she did learn that her father and Morgan weren’t seeing eye to eye on something. It had been a few days too long. Her patience had run out and now more than anything she wanted answers. Violet stopped her usual walk around the main room of the warehouse and turned to Big Silent. “I want to see my father. Where is
“Don’t make me do this, Violet,” her dad saidViolet shook her head, not moving away from Nolan. At this point, the vibrating, buzzing sensation flooded her body. It was so strong she wasn’t so sure she could move.“After everything I’ve done? After everything I’ve sacrificed for you?” Her dad demanded before he walked up to her.As soon as he reached for her, the sensation that had been running through Violet exploded. All the anger, loss, and pain she had been feeling ever since her mother was murdered flowed out of her and against her dad. A brief look of surprise washed over his face as she shoved him. “You killed my mother,” she growled at him, not even recognizing her own voice. “You tried to have me killed too!”
Noah didn’t have the answers Violet needed so he left to find the alpha while she took a shower and changed her clothes. It was exactly what she needed and when Noah came back, Violet felt ready to deal with whatever answers the alpha had to tell her. He was waiting for them in his office. Instead of sitting behind the desk, the alpha was sitting in a chair near the window, looking out of it. As soon as the door opened, he got up and walked over to her. “May I hug you?” he asked. The question surprised her, but she nodded. “Yeah.” He swallowed her into a hug. It was a little tight but Violet’s entire body relaxed. Again, she was surprised. She felt safe. The alpha made her feel safe. “I was so worried when we discovered you were gone. I thought…” He paused as if taking a moment to gather himself. “I’d
Hello, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my book. I hope you enjoy it!~Jilguera******Violet always loved Tyra Cook’s songs, but as she scrolled through her newly ex-boyfriend’s Instagram feed, Tyra’s lyrics of heartbreak and betrayal were a balm that helped ease the ache of her own bruised heart. Though Brad had never cheated on her, Violet still felt betrayed. She got the whole long-distance relationships rarely work. She really did, but why end their relation
Violet sat in the lounge chair near the pool, enjoying the quiet early morning. She texted Liliane, telling her Violet’s parents wouldn’t let her go to Europe.~Lame! ~
While the next few days passed, Violet’s anger simmered down to irritation. Her parents just didn’t get it and there was nothing she could do to help them understand. Putting on her new swimsuit. It was a black and white striped one-piece with the strips in the midsection changing direction so it looked like it was a wrap around her waist. She had fallen in love with it as soon as she saw it. Putting on her new lace shorts, Violet went into the backyard to join her parents and their guests. It was their annual ‘Start of Summer’ pool party thing. Most of the guests were people her parents worked with, but some of Violet’s fri
“Violet,” her mother yelled as soon as she saw the man drag Violet into the living room.“Hey! You let her go right now,” her father jumped in.
Violet felt numb as Jeremy led her out of her home and into a large SUV. “Let’s go,” he told the driver. Violet pressed her lips together as she watched her home grow smaller. Away from her parents. Away from all that was her life. Her eyes stung with tears, but this time they didn’t fall. She didn’t take her eyes off the house until it was gone. Violet looked out the window as they drove. Jeremy spoke softly with the man driving, but it all sounded like a dull buzz to her. The loss of everything had sucked her deep inside herself.
