Kate continued her history lesson on the supreme alpha as I listened intensely.
“In the old days a wolf pack hierarchy were more rank based and went like:
Alpha
Beta
Luna
Packmembers
Omegas
Slaves
Rouges
Whereas the Alpha was the top of the pack and the Beta in second command and the Luna was third in command normally with no authority but with the status of the alpha’s mate. Her lack of influence was solely based on her being a female and therefor she was more for show than having an actual responsibility towards the pack. Her only job was to ensure the heritage of the pack by giving the alpha a male heir.

The Supreme Alpha POVI was overlooking the pledgers starting to get ready, as I glanced over the arena.He wasn’t here! Luke POVI felt prepared and ready, like this was what I had been waiting for whole my life.We were standing in a line outside of the arena. We were 8 pledgers in total. The Supreme Alpha POVI watched as she fell to the ground, her body limbless and her skin turning pale.I felt Luke’s agony as my own as he ran towards her, ripping the big grey wolf off of her and pulling her close to him.Up till then it had been exciting to watch the pledger on the obstacle course. Tomas, Kate, and Luke had done a surprisingly good job. Luke and Kate had helped one another throughout the course and their ability to support and endorse each other was a sight for sore eyes. Their teamwork were impeccable, and Kate amazed me more than any of the other pledgers. She moved both quickly and elegantly through the course.
