These people obviously had no idea why her ticket got canceled in the first place, or someone knew about it, but they were deliberately trying to cover it up.

Either way, there was no way she could board that plane now.

Maya sighed and asked instead, “Fine. Can you at least book me a flight on the next plane? I’m willing to wait. Just, please. Please do.”

“Sure, I think I can definitely do that, but can you wait until all the passengers are gone? I’m sure they’ll be late if I deal with you first.” The woman insisted, so Maya stepped aside, letting the rest of the passengers go inside, feeling envious of their good luck. The passengers shot her a look as if she was a brat or something.

Maya glanced as the final passenger boarded the plane. She wanted to be on that plane too. She wanted to leave too, but there she was, stuck to waiting again.
