Chapter Nine

I don't know how long I stayed staring at the door just trying to register what I've seen.

Within 15 minutes Caspian came through the door and looked at me with a worried expression on his face. It was like he was afraid I might just faint or jump from the window to run away.

I finally looked at him then I said stuttering "you... your... your... a.... Vampire!" and He just nodded at me.

"But you don't exist!" I then as a matter of fact told him.

A small smile formed on his face as he said "Apparently we do exist."

He then tried to take a step forward to me but returned back. I could see he was debating with himself whether to come near me or not.

He then finally said avoiding my eyes "Are you afraid of me?"

I could not believe he had just asked me such a question, didn’t he know that my other dream had always been to meet another supernatural being like me besides Stella my witch best friend, her family and my grandma Sally.
