They took Demetrio into surgery to remove the bullet that had punctured his lung and was getting worse.

"You must leave the lady and leave the patient in our hands."

Eva stood nervously in the hospital room, pacing up and down.

"How is my son?" asked Massimo excitedly as he entered the hospital.

"Massimo, that bitch shot him," Eva rushed into her father-in-law's arms and burst into tears of shock.

Massimo looked up at Eva.

"I know," he exclaimed, and Anderson's face went from fear to shock in a matter of seconds.

"What do you know?" she asked, confused.

"Monica was Santino's sister." Eva went still.

"How so? I've known Santino for a long time, and I've never heard of him having a sister," she explained, still incredulous.

"She's the daughter Santino's mother had with another man," he explained.

"And how do you know this, Massimo? And why didn't you tell me?" panicked Evangelina.

"Calm down, daughter, let me explain so
