Olivia's POV

It was a few hours' drive to Atlanta, Alana was driving fast, and some reinforcement cars were following us.

"What's the plan?" I ask, finally managing to say something.

"I don't have a plan," she says nervously.

"How do you not have a plan?"

"Olivia... let the elders handle these matters."

I fell silent. After so much, I couldn't have much hope. Deep down, my subconscious told me that something bad would probably happen, and I wouldn't be able to see my mother. I was also worried about Peter. If something happened to him, I knew it would be my fault. Ethan couldn't get to me and took him.

"He's not going to kill your boyfriend," Alana grumbles.
