**Olivia's POV**

"We shouldn't have told him that way," Peter sighs. "Uncle Justin isn't doing well with all this."

"And who is?"

"Olivia, you understand me. It's his father."

"Peter..." I place the bandage over the wound, finishing the little treatment I did on him. "We did the right thing."

"I thought I'd never see you again," he says, holding me close.

"Spare me the details of how scared you were."

We laugh.

"But tell me one thing," I begin, "How did you manage to escape?"

"It was like I told my dad and the others. There was an infiltrator inside, I don't really know. It happened very quickly. He drugged me, and when I woke up, I was in a car coming home."

"If you remember anything, let me know, okay?"

"Okay."

I get up from the bed and start putting away the scattered first aid supplies. I was embarrassed in front of Peter. My cheeks were hot, and while I wanted to look him in the eyes, I felt I shouldn't. The silence in that room was unbearable; neither of us dared to say a word.
