I clasped my hands over my chest as I stared at the closed door. The way Lorenzo said it felt like a curse that gave me chills down my spine.

Shaking my head, I headed to the kitchen and drank a glass of water to calm my nerves.

Why am I nervous?

Lorenzo was not a man of his words and he probably only said it to threaten me.

After taking a long bath, I decided to get my breakfast outside. However, as I just stepped out of my suite, I saw Damien walking to my direction with a big and bright smile.

“Good morning, Miss Brianna,” he greeted enthusiastically as he hastened his pace. “I was just about to ask for your breakfast”
