I headed upstairs to freshen up and probably change into something nice, it was not yet my curfew time and I knew Mom would not be coming, I thought of wearing one of those short gowns but then I realized that Newton, looked like those bad boys that could take advantage of a girl even though I was lovesick, I still have to be reasonable and protect myself.
