Chapter~17

FINN

As I got back to the house, I set for Anya's room. I needed to check up on her. When I got to the door, I knocked twice but there was no response. I knocked again but was met with the same silence. I then informed her I was coming in and opened the door. I scanned the room but couldn't find her. She wasn't on her bed or the couch.

I checked the bathroom but nobody was there.

"Anya?" I called out but there was no response. I checked the balcony. I looked down at the garden that was above her room but she wasn't there either. It got to the extent that I had to check her wardrobe. She was nowhere to be found. I became worried. I had earlier spoken to Damon and he said she was inside.

"Maybe she stepped out for a walk," I told myself.

As I was stepping out, I heard little rattling noises coming from somewhere. I tried ignoring it but it came again. I listened carefully to hear where the sound was coming from. I followed carefully and found Anya under the bed.
