CHAPTER 33

A day after Hades took a brief getaway from his office to meet up with his two brothers, he and Thanatos boarded their flight back to North Carolina to prepare for dinner with Rheis. 

As one might have anticipated, Hades took the necessary precautions to ensure that the dinner would go off without a hitch. During the time that preparations were being made for the dinner that only took place once in a blue moon, the dining room of the mansion had been given a fresh coat of glitz and glamour.

Rheis would frequently dine by herself at the lengthy rectangular table in the dining room, which had seating for approximately twenty individuals. It sounded and appeared to be way too lonely, but that such a scene had been the case ever since Zeus and Poseidon lived outside of the mansion and settled for their own places outside of the state.
