CHAPTER 7

The torrential downpours splattered all over the city. From the bustling city with abundant foot traffic, the entire area drenched in rain unexpectedly became a soulless place with just the gleaming brilliant lights of street lamps and high buildings. The evening could've been a pleasant one for Hades, but it's now wrecked due to the unexpected rainfall, which got worse as soon as the two arrived at Hades' place.

Hades stood by with a glass filled with a bourbon drink in his hand, leaning against his room's life-size tinted glass window, facing the entirety of the city being washed by the rain.

It has been a long day for Hades. At this point, he should have been sipping his drink inside Orange Flamingo. He'd also have been half drunk in his alone time blitz, which he used to do practically every night. However, everything seemed to have shifted in the blink of an eye, opposite to what he expected, especially when he met Rebecca.
