Ch. 13 Nova
Nova's P.O.V.
All eyes were on our table. Sure I'd given them something to talk about with that fight earlier, but I didn't think they'd be openly gawking at us. I took a bite of my apple slowly, meeting everyone's eyes. They can stare if they want, but I'll stare right back at them. Most of them turned their attention away when I did.
"This is stupid. Why don't we just go eat somewhere else?" Auggie sounded frustrated.
He didn't like the negative attention. I'd beat his ass in front of a lot of people earlier. He was still coming to terms with that, not used to having his ass handed to him. He is very strong, it just so happens that I have the perfect counter to each of his elements. Dragon fire for his shadow and water for his phoenix.

Ares' P.O.V. I'd been scrambling to try and figure out what was happening to Jesse. I know it has something to do with Damon, from the vision I had. I know she doesn't want me to meddle, but knowing she's not okay is eating away at me. I wish she had been more open with me. I'm her brother, I'm here to help her. She's like mom though, stubborn and proud. She won't ask for help. If I offer it, or advise her right now, she'd ignore me, or do the complete opposite of what I say. I sighed, sitting in the library. I was reading books about visions to see how to interpret them better. "Hey, Arie." Gabriel's kind voice snapped my attention out of my book. "I brought a book I thought would help you." He pushed a thick moss-green book with a gold binding towards me. Gabriel always impressed me with his seeing abilities. Most wolf seers weren't this great.

Nova's P.O.V."Thanks for practicing with me." Cal smirked at me, making butterflies fly around in my stomach."Anytime." I smiled back, pushing my hair behind my ear.
