Evening, after the detention, I and Aaron walked out of the library. Today also, Miss Bennett had made us sit separately.
"Here, your lab notes," I said, fishing the paper out of my pocket and stretching it to him. "Why you wanted this?" he asked me, taking it from my hands with a frown. "To learn how to do the experiment. You were the one who did the whole thing, right?" I said and smiled innocently. "I'll definitely help you next time." "It's okay. No problem," he smiled without realizing my evil intentions. As soon as Aaron said 'bye' and walked away, I rushed in direction of the basketball court. Yesterday I waited about 10 minutes in the parking for Ty. So their practice probably hasn’t finished yet. And I don't want it to finish soon. I ran to reach the basketball court faster. I was relieved on seeing the basketballers still practicing when I reached there. Ty saw me and I flashed a smile in his direction before going and sitting on the sidestep. Strangely, Ty didn't smile back at me. But I can guess the reason. Probably Mia or Brent told him about me being Aaron’s lab partner today or Asher told him about his encounter with us during the lunch break. Maybe both. I averted my eyes to the jerk. He was running, aiming the hoop, tossing the ball on the floor. I waited patiently for about five minutes until Asher clapped his hands and announced the end of practice. Then the players started walking towards the side benches and side steps to pick their bags and water bottles. Asher and Ty together walked to a side bench. Shit! They are together. Now how am I gonna do this?' Anyway, I fished out my water bottle from my bag and walked in direction of them. I saw Asher picking the orange capped bottle that was sitting on the bench before opening its cap and stretching it to Ty. That isn't Ty's bottle. So it's Asher's and he just gave it to Ty. Okay, now I know what to do. I quickly reached to them and grabbed the bottle from Ty's hands. Both Ty and Asher frowned at me. "You don't need to drink from his bottle. Drink this," I said stretching my bottle to Ty. I know this is a risky move but I'm sure Ty isn't gonna take it from me. He is mad at me right now. As I expected, he rolled his eyes at me. "What happens if I drink from Asher's bottle?" he asked. "Ty, don't trust him. He's a bastard. He's the one who got me detention," I sneered glaring at Asher. I don't have much hope that the plan I have right now in my head would work. Maybe this would terribly fail. But let's try our best. "Yeah..he told me. Also, he told me one more thing. That you are now friends with Aaron. Give me the bottle," he scoffed. "No you aren't drinking this," I said and held the bottle upside down. "Caroline!" Ty screamed as the water exited the mouth of the bottle in a moment and hit the floor with a splash. "Now drink this," I said stretching our sulfur phosphate poisoned water in his direction, praying he won't take it. He didn't take it, just like my assumption. He unzipped his bag and produced a half-filled water bottle from inside it. He opened the cap and started sipping on it while I glared hard at him. I then heard someone chuckle. It was none else than Asher. "Don't be so immature Caroline," he said and grabbed the bottle from my hands. I had to fight myself to control a smirk. Things are going smoothly. "I'm your brother's friend. Not enemy. Don't be scared I'll mix some drugs in water and give it to him. And I don't do drug deals like someone," Asher said opening the cap of my bottle. “Like someone? Who?” I asked. “Someone you are currently close with,” he said and raised the bottle to his lips. "Don't drink from my bottle! Give it back!" I scoffed. Asher chuckled and reached it once again to his mouth. I waited anxiously for him to drink. Yeah! Yes! He drank it! Yes! He is drinking! Hahaha bitch, I just successfully tricked you. Yes! Keep on drinking. But don't blame me if you can't get out of the toilet. I had warned you. "How dare you drink from my bottle?".I shouted once he stopped drinking and started closing the bottle with its cap. He had drank more than half of the water. "Shh..Carrie! Quiet!" Ty scolded me. "Look Caroline, I'm sorry. I mean it. I'm really sorry for yesterday," Asher said stretching my water bottle back to me. But looking at his face I could see he was not at all sorry. "Ty, See! He got me detention and now look how he is acting so innocent in front of you. This wasn't his attitude yesterday. Do you know what all lies he said to the principal yesterday? And now how dare he tell me sorry and drink from my bottle? He is a jerk! Why can't you understand?".I asked bringing a pained look on my face. "Ty, I'm so disappointed. Moreover upset with you. I didn't think you would choose this jerk over me," I said and turned around grabbing my water bottle from Asher. Then I briskly walked away. Everything I just told Ty is true. I'm disappointed in him for being friends with this Jerk and I'm a bit upset Ty actually believed whatever lies Asher told him to clear his side. He might have made a whole different story about yesterday's incident. I can't blame Ty. Asher is such a smart devil who knows how to manipulate things in his favor. Anyway, I'm also happy that I was able to easily execute my plan. Asher will face quite a big trouble today. However, this isn't the end. I'm not done yet. This is only the beginning. "Carrie wait..!" I heard Ty yell behind me. "Carrie..please..I'm sorry! I'll drink your water. Wait!" I quickly opened the cap of my bottle and held it upside down, emptying the rest of the poisonous water. "Ahh..Carrie! why are you being like this? Didn't I say sorry?" he groaned. I grinned at that and continued walking, pretending angry. Poor Ty, he doesn't know how much of an evil thing Caroline really is. But Carrie doesn't cause any harm to the people she loves. She even gives her life for them. But if you get into Caroline's bad book, then Caroline will even risk her life to see your downfall.I shut the car door behind harshly and walked toward the front door. But I stopped there in front of the door as neither of Ty's parents had arrived back from work and I didn't have the key to the house. "Carrie..are you still mad at me?" Ty asked hopping out of the driver's seat, leaving a sigh. I didn't talk to him and pretended angry the whole ride back home. So he is a bit upset. Yeah, I want him to be upset for trusting that Jerk and choosing to believe him more than me. I crossed my arms over my chest and waited for him to come and open the door so that I can finally get inside, go to my room and hack Asher's FF. Ty came behind me and embraced me in a back hug, placing his chin on my left shoulder. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "Can you now open the door ?" I asked coldly. "Uhmm..yeah.." he nodded taking his arms from me and fumbling with the house key. He jammed it into the door and twisted it. The locks clicked and the door opened. I quickly ran in and rushed up the stai
A few minutes after Ty's alarm started going off in his room at 6, I shut down my laptop and leaned back on the chair whilst yawning. I slept late yesterday and only got less than five hours sleep because I woke up at 4 Am to work on my coding skills. I had to almost plead my legs to drag me to the bathroom instead of towards my bed. But once I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I felt magically lively. Then I quickly went and got dressed up for school. If you are wondering why I'm getting ready so early, then I'm going to school along with Ty. He has basketball practice at 6:30. I'm going with him not because I like so much to watch his practice but because I'm very eager to meet Aaron. Aaron is on the Football team and he too has practice morning. I want to meet him and know whether my plan worked or not. I mean whether Asher taught him yesterday or not. I didn't have Aaron's number to call him and ask. But I of course tried texting him on FF. He didn't even see the message.
After the very peaceful and prosperous breakfast with Asher Carter, I went to my first class Biology. Olivia and Isabella were there and they waved at me. I went and sat on the desk beside them. "So you became friends with Aaron?" Olivia turned and asked me. "Yeah.." I nodded. "What did Ty say about it?" Isabella asked, bending a little forward from her chair to see my face. "He didn't say anything. He is okay with it," I replied fishing out my books. They both looked at each other surprised. "He is okay with it? He doesn't even like us talking to Aaron. That's why we don't actually talk to him," Olivia then said. I placed the books on the table and fully turned to them. "Why are you guys bothered about what Ty might think if you talk to Aaron? If you like to talk to a person then you should. You don't need to care what others think." "Yeah..er..that's right." Olivia nodded awkwardly. "So we heard you were running around in the ground with Aaron and the other footballers
During the lunch break, I made a quick trip to the library. I needed some books for the new history assignment. Every student in our class had to write on a different topic from the current chapter and my topic was Industrial expansion. I first thought I'd copy something down from the internet but then Mrs. Cooper said she needed us to use the library and provide the names of the books we used for reference. On reaching the library, I went to the history section and scanned through the names of the books on the shelves. Finally, when I thought I found a relevant book and was about to pull it out, a hand caught it from the other side and pulled it forcefully to that side. I made my grip tight on the book because I saw the face of the owner of that hand. It was none else than Mr. Grey eyes. "I was the first one who touched it. So take your hands off," I said. "Who told you, you were the one who touched it first? It was me. So find some other book cause I'm taking this one," he said
"Aaron.." I finally called lightly, not wanting to frighten him and ruin his drawing. But, still, he flinched. "Oh Ann!" he responded turning around and smiling at me. "I didn't know you were an artist!" I said excitedly, occupying the chair beside him. "We just met last day," he giggled. "Yeah..right," I nodded looking at the girl on the screen. "This one is really good. And you really are a very good artist. I was observing you for some time. You didn't even know I was here." "Uh..thanks..." he laughed adorably while his ears turned a little pink. "So you have learned digital art?" I was so sure that he had taken classes. He confirmed it with a nod. "What else can you do on a computer, other than drawing? "Uhmm..I know a little bit of graphics and animation." "Great.." I smiled. "So, who is this girl?" I asked looking admiringly at the picture. The girl was really beautiful. "She's my older sister, Riley. Her birthday is next week. But she can't come home. So I thou
You know that feeling when you get up in the morning knowing the day is going to suck? That's what I felt when I woke up to Ty's Mom's high-pitched voice. That jerk had called Ty, yesterday night. I was then sitting in front of my laptop, thinking about what to do with the video game. Suddenly Ty barged into the room, yelling 'Caroline!' He had his phone held near his ear and I could easily guess who was on the line. Apparently, that bastard told Ty that I keyed his car and so I should bring him $400 tomorrow if I don't want suspension. I pretended shocked and acted like I was about to cry. So, Ty soon told him, I won't do such cheap things and it might be Aaron who keyed his car. I called Aaron to tell him the things. And he said the jerk had already called him while he was driving back home. As soon as he picked the call, Asher screamed into his ear something like, 'Aaron, what the hell did you do!?' He said he really got terrified that he almost drove the car into a telephone
"Correcting your answers?", Asher chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "N..no.." I shook my head, my knees were almost trembling. "But I saw," he grinned. I gulped and swallowed the lump in my throat. Then I took a breath before walking toward the door. I need to somehow get out of here first. "Look Asher, I wasn't. And Mr. Keating isn't teaching me. Move!" I said as I reached near him. He was standing there blocking the door. "Really? Okay, I'm sorry, maybe it's some problem with my eyes. Anyway let me tell the principal and ask him to check the camera footage," he said, pointing at the camera on one corner of the classroom. I bit my lip, not knowing what to say or do. Then I heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming up the steps. Probably Mr. Keating. I pushed Asher out. He stumbled and almost fell back, yelping from the sudden shock. But then I grabbed his wrist and placed my other hand over his mouth. His pupils dilated as he looked into my eyes. "Look Asher, please let's talk
I sat staring at my laptop screen, trying to make a decision about whether to hack our school CCTV camera or not. For that, I need to first hack into the school website and find the IP address of the operating system linked to CCTV. It's a bit difficult task and if I get caught, I will get suspended from school, or worse I will get arrested for cyber offense. Do I need to take such a risky move just to erase the silly footage of me correcting Ty's answer sheet code? It's just a code and I won't get anything more than detention if they find out. And if Asher doesn't tell anyone, nobody is gonna know. Nevertheless, I already agreed to his deal. My heart skipped a beat as suddenly my room door clicked open. But then I realized I was just staring at my desktop and I didn't have any of my coding files open. Leaving an inaudible sigh, I turned around to see Ty frowning at me, walking inside. "What were you doing?" he then asked going to my bed and slumping down. "Nothing. Just thin
