Chapter 15: Valerie

In a private apartment’s storeroom, two men stood in front of a desk in a dimly lit room, their heads bowed to avoid the intense gaze of their lady boss seated opposite them after reporting the outcome of their mission.

The room had been renovated into an office on the inside, but on the outside, it was a normal storeroom, one would never believe the kind of meetings, and transactions that have been held there if informed.

The men had their heads down, as they received scolding from their Mistress.

“Incompetence bastard!!” Valerie shouted, “You couldn't kill a single woman! Why the hell am I wasting money on you?!!” she screamed, slamming her palm on the desk.

“Sorry boss, but when we arrived at the location, we found out the lady had moved out two weeks ago and we tried to track her but it’s like she disappeared into thin air.” Morris, the leader among the two, explained.

“How is that possible?! I heard my dad ask his colleague in that country to arrange a place for her?!
