“Please don’t torment my son, I beg of you Ms. President”
Mr. Watson tried to joke with Keira, his demeanor changed as if he really did not like Keira for his son even if it was just a joke.
“Well then, you’re missing out on having the best daughter in law Mr. Watson.”
Both of them giggled, Keira really wants to make Mr. Watson feel better because of the long years he worked for his father; he is like family to her.
“Ms. President; we should get going, the meeting starts in ten minutes.”
Keira nodded, she took a deep breath as she stood up and prepared herself for the meeting. The whole board room was quiet as she stepped inside. There are familiar faces and new ones as well; the board of directors is complete today eager to hear the very first meeting the new CEO will preside.
