After a long journey, I finally arrived at the borders of the Taiyou Empire. There were a lot of merchants passing through the border gates and I decided to just walk along with them. The guards by the border weren’t as strict as the guards we had back home. The merchants scattered all over the city to put up their shops and trade with the people. I walked aimlessly for a bit, trying to observe what the Taiyou Empire had to offer. I noticed that the Empire is much more modern compared to our empire. They have streetlamps now and even though they’re not powered by electricity, they’re powered by gas which is advanced for this age. “Miss, can I interest you in some candy?” One of the merchants walked up to me and showed me an array of candies. I was surprised to see that they had a lot of modern candies. Most of them were in the shape of animals and flowers and I know that

"You must be here to ask about how we came to this world." She said. I quickly nodded my head. I wanted to know why we were here, why this world, why us. I had so many questions and I was excited to ask her everything. Before I could speak, she stopped me. "Before I answer your question, I have one thing to ask you." She said. I nodded and told her she could ask me anything. "What will you do once you find out how you came into this world?" She asked. I was stunned with her question. I didn't even think about that. All I kept thinking was how much I wanted to know how I got here and why it was me. It could've been anyone but why was I chosen? “Please, help us.” One of the people who were just lying in the streets reached out to me. A lot of them looked to be in a bad condition. I doubt the Empress knows about this part of town that’s why none of them are getting the attention they need. As I observed, they seemed to be in pain and there were marks on their skin. I wanted to take a closer look but I knew that I shouldn’t touch them. I could tell that the marks on their skins were a result of bleeding under the skin. If my guess was right, they might be suffering from the plague. This was a desolate part of town and none of the other citizens would even think to come here so that’s why they’re in the shape that they are. The next morning, I immediately set out to get the materials to quarantine the part of town where the disease seems to be located. There were tarps made out of the same material they use to make tents and I was planning on making a big tent-like building so we can contain all the patients. I also need to instruct a few of the physicians how to handle the infected persons so they won’t get infected as well. It’ll be a big job but we need to do it as fast as we can. “Please help me set this up.” I asked the guards to set up the isolation room. We don’t have the proper materials to make special suits for the physicians but we can make do with gloves and masks. The isolation tent was set up and we placed about 15 beds inside since it could only house a small amount so as to not let it get too crowded.
