This resulted in him narrowly dodging the attack but sustaining slight damage from the dregs of stones that flew up from the crash site of the tentacle. Slightly shocked, Kirou made sure to keep his guard up while rushing to the main body of the giant jellyfish. Where the land ended, water began and this was a vast underground lake that led out to the sea, if the reflection of the moon at the very edge of the lake is anything to go by. Kirou stared at all of this and knew that he found the perfect place to set up his base, but he didn't start doing anything as of yet. First of all, while there was no monster present, this area was still within hostile territory.
