"Thanks for meeting me," Imogen said as she smiled at her best friend. The brown-haired young woman smiled back. "I didn't know what to do. I didn’t know who else to call, Isabel." After her conversation with her mother, she called her best friend almost immediately. They promptly scheduled lunch at Mary Grace in their favorite mall in Alabang two days after her arrival from Singapore to discuss everything that was happening to her and the disturbing dream that she had.  They met in a small cafe that served delicious cakes and coffee. It was a Wednesday afternoon so the cafe was nearly empty. Imogen was nervous but she didn’t let it show.  "I'm glad you called. How are you?" Isabel asked, looking worried. 

Imogen's stomach was full of butterflies as she entered Bon Sejour. Kieran had called her earlier that afternoon to ask her out to dinner. She immediately canceled her last meeting to accomodate his request and went home to get ready. Her skirt suit and heels were replaced with a lovely lavender A-line dress and wedge heels. She did her hair in a half-up and half-down style so her bangs and some tendrils of hair framed her oval face. She also swiped on a deeper shade of pink on her lips but kept her makeup as simple as possible.  Although she was surprised that he was asking her out on a Monday, she didn't ask.
