On Monday morning we all headed back upstate. I stop by the garage and make sure things are in order, signing off on whatever I need to. Brenda can handle the rest later! I stop back at the house to grab clothes and plan out how I’m going to work out giving three years of anniversary presents to Loyalty. I know it’s odd that I still got her stuff when she’s been tryna divorce me, but we’re still married and that was something worth celebrating to me until the very end! Brenda takes care of the court matters, and since we know exactly where Loyalty is, we can send the marshal right to her to serve her. It’s Wednesday when we all head back down to Brooklyn. “Well, isn’t this the most hysterical of bromances I’ve ever seen”, Loyalty says loudly, causing me to jump out of my sleep from where I dozed off on the couch. Jonny sits up from the other sofa when she says, “have a good night boys”? I don’t find her amusing right now, my neck is killing me and since Jonny does this regularly he probably slept on the more comfortable of the two sofas. “Come on Jonny, we gotta go! If Nina or anyone else texts me one more time I think I’m going to snap”, she says somewhat aggressively, but he chuckles. “Who is Nina, and where are you going?” I asked. “Nina is my mother, and we’re supposed to stop by her house today”, Jonny says, as my daughter stumbles into the room, still half-asleep, and tosses herself on top of him. “We're going to see Nay Nay”, she says as Jonny snuggles her. “Yeah, princess”, he tells her. “Put your bathing suit on under your clothes, okay”? She nods and heads back the way she came without even offering

I wake to a smell I haven’t whiffed in over three years. Loyalty is making pancakes! But I’m completely disappointed when I step out of the guest bedroom to find that Jonny is already in the kitchen with her, and my daughter is at the table stuffing her face with pancakes and strawberries. No syrup, no butter! Her dietary habits are uncanny to that of Loyalty, to the point it almost grosses me out. But hey, if the kid looks just like me, at least she’d have that of Loyalty! “Ooo how I’ve missed these pancakes”, I tell her and she giggles as I roll one up and stuff a bite into my mouth. Then I had a seat at the table with Stephany. When Loyalty is done, Jonny helps her move everything from the kitchen to the table, and when she looks around confused, he jumps back up and grabs a bottle from the counter and hands it to her. She smiles, and when she is done squeezing some on her plate to dunk her pancakes into, I have a look at the bottle. It’s some organic strawberry purée!

I was startled out of my sleep when a large heavy body crashed into the super soft and bouncy mattress. “What the hell Spin”, I managed to get out before checking what time it was. “Is the baby okay”? “Our daughter is fine, I’m ready to make another one with you”, he says, causing me to glare and throw a pillow at him. I should suffocate him with that damn pillow! “One enough for you”? “I want more kids Spin, but this isn’t a conversation I’m ready to have with you or anyone else. Birth control is my best friend right now, so when I’m ready to have sex again, I don’t have to worry about it until I’m ready to worry about it. Plus, it alleviated those horrid cramps I used to get during my periods”, I tell him before I yawn and fall back onto the pillows. “Glad to hear it baby girl, but it's time to get up”, he says. He’s really starting to get on my nerves. “Nuh-uh”, I growl out as I roll away. “Spiiiiin”, I cry out when he clamps his jaw shut on my ass cheek.

In the morning I wake relaxed even though I feel a firm chest under my head. I look up into the face of Spin, still asleep. I reach up and rub his cheek. His eyes flutter open the way they did that very first night I slept in this bed with him. “Baby girl, I have to get ready for work”, he says as he slides me off him gently and sits up before shaking off his sleep. “Sleep”, he tells me as he kisses my lips and pulls the blanket back up over me.While he’s in the bathroom, Meme comes bouncing in the room and launches herself right on top of me!
