The Last Alpha Chapter 40Unfortunately, the clouds are dark, and after a bit longer, the rain starts patting on my window along the highway. Shoot, I don’t have an umbrella because who would think it will rain right now. The weather forecast is not always that accurate. I drive fast up to the hospital parking area, yet it gets fiercer, and the raindrops are big. I lean my back after turning off the engine of my car. I look at the window, but this will last for an hour. I grab my backpack and ready myself to run through the hospital entrance. I open the door and step my white snicker on the wet ground. The movement of my feet is fast enough for a leap beside a dry area a meter from the hospital wall. “Good morning, sir,“ a student greets me at the front desk, and then I give her a warm smile in this rainy weather.
