I watched his every movement while he cooked. His movements have precision. It was as if he was a professional chef.Although, I still can’t figure out what he was cooking. And, it smells so good that I could hear my stomach gurgling, wanting to take a taste.My eyes shifted to the open cooking pot with boiling water.Juancho took a ladle and took a sip of the soup. He scooped another more and took a step towards me.“Here, take a taste.” He said as he offered the soup.I slowly took a sip. The sweet and sour taste of the soup went through my throat with gentleness. It tasted so good.A smile formed my lips.“How was it?” He asked, smiling from ear to ear.“It tastes perfect.” I said. “How did you do that?”He smiled and stood confidently. “You’re talking to an expert.” He replied.I almost rolled my eyes at how arrogant he sounded.“Good for you then.
