Chapter 49

(Clara's POV)

A month later, I woke up feeling uncomfortable because I was leaking of urine. It happens during pregnancy but it was the first time I faced something so embarrassing.

I had faced so many things now that I was entering the fourth month of pregnancy and started crying.

At that exact moment, Alastair entered the room, "Babe, what happened! Why are you crying" He asked with a frown, coming closer to me. He enveloped me in his arms.

"I don't know Alastair! I feel so ashamed. I woke up and felt the wetness between my legs I don't know how to say...It was urine. I'm so embarrassed!" I cried those words hiding my face.

He looked at the situation before pecking my forehead.

He said it was okay and he helped me change, while I was changing he took my clothes and the bedsheet that had stain in it and goes to do the laundry. He came back with a smile and kissed me gently.

“Hey, don’t be sad. It’s normal. You’re doing great, my love. You’re carrying our baby and I’m so proud of you.
