CHAPTER 64

Keleigh’s POV.

Something was happening. Something important enough for the head maid to come and dress me up.

I sat in front of the mirror, watching as the maids hovered above and farther from me, curling my hair, wearing a necklace, straightening my dresses and doing every sort of thing that had to do with lady beauty. Two of them were standing beside me, the brushes in their hands dancing and painting my face. I have tried to ask the head maid who was supervising everything on what was going on but got only an answer,

“I have no idea, ma’am. We were only asked to do this.”

My thoughts went to just one person. The only person that likes me well enough to plan something like this, Ryker. And the thought of him doing all of this whole thing made me giddy with excitement, one I didn’t want to put out too much.
