CHAPTER 78

Keliegh’s pov

I composed myself quickly, stretching myself up, “A ghost? Who?”

Her lips curled up into a smile, “walk with me, Keleigh.”

I heaved a deep sigh. When I needed her, she was not around and when all I wanted to be alone, she was here to torment me. At least she’s not calling me the abusive names or picking a fight with me again.

I walked behind her as she started, “what about what we discussed together? Do you have an answer yet to it?”

“What’s that?” I inquired with raised brows.

“The deal. I’ll give you money and you’ll leave this place.”

The thought came back to my mind, the deal I had thought to be a good one, to start all over. Ever since I slept off thinking about it, it hasn’t come to my mind again not to talk of pondering about it. And since Arnold’s revelation, I had forgotten I had a conversation with Selene.

I never forget any conversation with her, or maybe it was just because she was particularly less violent and insulting in the last one.
