Chapter 13

Tension was thick in the air as Thea helped Bellamy strap Lissa down onto Penny’s bed.

“Is this really necessary?” Penny pleaded.

“Removing my branding would be like trying to saw off my arm, we can’t bind my magic until after the brand is gone so, it’s the only way to keep you all safe and stop me from running.” Lissa tried to shrug but, the movement was limited to little more than a twitch due to the bindings around her hands.
