Chapter 146: A disastrous date

Beatrice's POV

Vera assisted me in changing my clothes. She even put light make-up on my face. I didn't like the idea of putting make-up but for her, I have to do it. I just can't wait to see Tobias. I'm wondering what would be his reaction if he sees me.

“Thank you for the help. Whatever the outcome of this date, I would like you to know that I was grateful for your help. Don't ever blame yourself for whatever outcome of it. I promise, I will be fine, and nothing changes.”
