Chapter 64: Gavin's warning

Tobias' POV

Teeth gritted as I turned my head back to them. Bettina, who was still in her confused reaction, waited for whatever I was about to say. I took a deep breath, my fists clenched before I spoke up.

“Just look at what you've done, Bettina!” I yelled that made her tears fall down. I don't care if she cry now. It was her fault why Beatrice walked out. This is all because of her lies.

“I-Is it my fault, Tobias?” Bettina stated in her crying tone. I just shook my head and looked at them, eyes filled with anger.

Now I don't feel like continuing this meeting. Beatrice is running into my head. I want to talk to her. I want to enlighten her that there's nothing going on between me and Bettina but… Why would I do that?

Why would I explain Beatrice about it if what we have is just a lie?

“This meeting is cancelled. Please leave me alone.”
