Chapter 95: Do not mess with Him

Beatrice's POV

Our car suddenly stopped running when we heard gunshots into our direction. I just felt how Tobias hugged me to protect me from any bullets that were about to hit us.

“F*ck!”

I heard him cussed and still not letting me go. Fortunately, nothing hit us inside the car. Our car was so strong and bulletproof. After a minute, the gunshots had already stopped. But before we could be able to check who did those shots, I heard footsteps coming in our way.

“T-Tobias, what's going on?”

While asking, I just felt my heart pounding so fast in nervousness. I don't know what I should do in case enemies will attack us here. I was hoping that we could handle them.

“Don't worry, Little Wolf. Everything will be alright. I will not allow the enemies to touch us!”

I looked at him when I heard him say those words. The reassuring look from his face made me feel comfortable. I have trust in my husband. He won't allow our lives to be at risk.
