Chapter 44
"Why are you doing this?", Annaliese asks.
"Because i want to and i can", Lucian replies.
"Now the last cell".
He places the handcuffs on their wrists again and leads them to another cell. Then he unlocks the door and opens it wide.
"Don't worry, It's empty", Lucian says.
Suddenly a vampire lifts Annaliese up over his shoulders. They do the same for Marian and drop them in the cell.
"Now It's not".
"We all know how Kieran is when he's having a fit of rage so I'll just leave you here so he doesn't destroy my house looking for you".
Annaliese didn't fight back, neither did Marian.
They know it won't do any good.
The vampires uncuff them and chain them to the walls then lock the metal door.
Annaliese's wrists burn as she realizes the chains are made purely of silver.
The chains are long making Annaliese run forward to spit in Lucian's face.

When they get to the coven, the sun was beginning to rise.If her best friend wasn't about to die, Annaliese would enjoy the sunrise.She is forced to hand Phoenix to Griselda as her wounds are cleaned. It's been four years since Marian was killed and four years of healing for Kieran. For the pack, for everybody. Four years of growing stronger and better. A lot has happened in the last four years.
