Chapter Nine: First Mission

Lucian was sitting in the back of the car, East was the driver, and Elize was in the passenger seat.  East immediately took his phone, soon they got to hear the couple talking.

"You didn't even properly introduce me to the two of them," said Veronica.

He laughed a little. "What would you have me say? You have a husband, right? ”

"Am I still your wife?" annoyed Veronica said

"On paper and in people's eyes, you're still my wife, but not for me." Said, Arturo

The surroundings became quiet. Later, they saw the Elizalde couple leave the diner, followed by several bodyguards.

Elize took off those shoes she was wearing.

"That old man is literally drooling on you, honey." Said East laughing.

"And his operated-on wife doesn't just salivate you, hon. She takes your clothes off with her eyes and she could eat you all raw." Said annoyed Elize.

East laughed.  "You're the only person who hasn't drooled over me."

"Yes, because I don't want to be in your collection," Elize says one by one removes the clothes.

'Can't you wait to get to your house before you undress?' Lucian thought.

"You know I hate wearing dresses like these," said Elize.

“I know, so I haven't said a word.  I get used to you." Says East.

Elize turned the other way.  "You never said anything?"

“Nothing. Why do I have to stop you if I like what I see? ” East said grinning

"You're pure nonsense."  Said Elize

Elize thought. She was certain she heard something. She kept on taking her clothes off and East stared at her.

"If you don't want us to die, look at the road."  Said Elize

East laughed slightly. Elize finished her clothes in a few minutes. She just silently stared out the window.

The training they did at camp flashed back to her mind. She closed her eyes.

"What you got on your mind?" East asked

"Our training just flashed on me.” Elize was simple.

"Don't think of it.” Says East.

Elize closed her eyes and East let her rest.

The next day, the entire school made a prayer for Jahmar. Lindsey and Elize stood in the main hallway while offering a prayer, it could be heard in all the university buildings.

“A varsity player?  What made him kill himself? ”  Elize asked Lindsey

"They said he was left by his lover for someone else, who made him depressed, he jumped into the building," said Lindsey.

After prayer, students began to walk again.

"I am lucky because of the difficulties I have suffered since my childhood, I never thought to kill myself," says Elize.

At the age of 6, it's hard living without your parents. She was left on the island without anything after being kidnapped. Very young, she was able to survive for two weeks. When she was 10, she learned how to handle a different weapon for combat, and At the age of 12, she was already a killer. By the time she was 13, all her possessions were also taken away.

“People are different from each other, Liz.  You're lucky because you have mental strength. We cannot judge them either because we do not know what they are going through and how they feel. ” Lindsey said

Elize sighed, something she felt passed close to her. Elize just got goosebumps.

“ Geez, that’s strange,” Elize said

"Liz, why?"  Lindsey asked

"Did you sense that?” said Elize.

"Sensed what?"  Lindsey asked again

"There appears to be...,” says Elize.

"Oh my God, it's Dark..." said Lindsey.

Elize turned to look at Lindsey. He turned around, his both hands are in either pocket of his pants.  He's also tall and his hair has a shiny thing.

“Sadly, you haven’t seen his face. He's a handsome promise!  I feel so excited. ” Lindsey added

Elize smiled slightly.

The basketball team left the gymnasium when they saw Dark. One of Lucian's companions greeted him.

"Dark, dude!" Adrian called out.

Dark stopped walking and stared at whoever called him.

"I was just going to ask you, have you seen Ella?" asked Adrian.

"We haven't seen each other yet," Dark replied.

"Why Adrian, where is your sister?"  Vinz asked

"We have no idea because he never came home last night, I thought he was with Kae," Adrian said.

"He wasn't with Kae last night, maybe she's in a different group," said Luke.

Dark and Lucian's eyes met, but there wasn't any reaction to one another.

"We are worried that if she is not here before lunch, we will make a report to the police," Andrian said

"Who was with Ella last time you saw her?” asked Lucian.

"Yesterday, I saw her with Ryu at the cafeteria around 4:00 pm.”

Andrian looked at Dark. "Dude, if you might see her, please let me know right away."

"Alright." Dark just said. He glanced at Lucian a little more then left.

“He's the weirdest guy I know. He has the same facial expression in all emotions.”  Said Klot

“But Ella has a thing for him. Don't you doubt him? ”  Vinz asked

Adrián shook his head. "Adrian doesn't have any reason to doubt him," said Lucian.

“But ....” Vinz said

“Cut it out, Vinz, cut it out. You are just messing up the situation. ”  Said, Lucian

"Hey, Andrew, look, Miss Beauty is coming towards us!" said Klot.

Everybody was staring at the two women approaching.  They waved to them but the woman did not react as if they didn’t see them.

"They ignored us, dude!" Luke said laughing

By the time Dark arrived at their locker room, it was locked.  His forehead furrowed. He turned around then teleported into the locker room.  When he came in, he noticed a person sitting next to the door.  She was sleeping.

‘Ella?’ - Dark’s thought

He sat down before the woman and held out her hand.  A few moments later, Ella was in her own house, sleeping in her bed.  Dark was leaving when her Guardian showed up.

"You should not interfere with your mission, Reaper." It says.

"You shouldn’t abandon your mission, keeper."  Said Dark

“She was meant to be locked into the locker because she wouldn't listen to me. She did whatever she wanted first, so she got punished. You shouldn't have brought her here. ”  Said the keeper

"If you don't have anything to say, I'll leave," said Dark.

Three steps back Dark is at university again, he saw Adrian coming out of the cafeteria. When they got closer Dark said what he should say.

"Call your house," Dark said he continued walking.

Adrian frowned. "What would I call home for?"

Adrian thought about it but when he realized what Dark wanted to convey, he immediately took the phone out of his pocket and called his mum.

“Sleeping in the bedroom?  But he wasn't there earlier.. ”said Adrian.  “S-sure Ma.  All right.  Yes. ”

Adrian put his phone down.  ‘How did Dark find out Ella was at home?’

The East sent Elize a text message saying he was tracking Veronica Elizalde. Elize was assigned to place the camera in Arturo's office. Elize got up all of a sudden. Lindsey was surprised, Elize was with her in the coffee shop.

"Where are you off to, Liz?” asked Lindsey.

"I'm leaving, we have an emergency," said Elize.

“What emergency?  I'll go with you.” Lindsey said she was getting ready to leave, too.

“No need, Linds, I have to go.  Just call me later. ”  Elize said then quickly left the cafeteria

In a privately operated helicopter, Elize was ready to jump.  Elize placed her goggles and her hand was signed to the pilot. A few moments later, Elize jumped with a parachute.

Lucian shuddered as he looked at Elize, Lucian standing on the roof of the building Elize had passed by.  Elize wears black fitted jumpsuits. Her hair is ponytailed and she is carrying a bag. She had two guns on both thighs and a knife under them.

Elize flew into the Elizaldes' building. She looked around and looked at the tracking device that she was holding.  Elize's finger squeezed something into her ear.

"Flame, Rogue has landed in the nest."  Said Elize

“The chicken's on the move. Look after yourself,” East said.

Elize took something out of her backpack. She turned towards the ceiling and then effortlessly Elize climbed up the wall and pasted something to the ceiling.

‘Camera?’ Said Lucian

Elize first glanced inside, then walked in carefully. It was dark on the inside of the building. With her strange glasses, Elize can see the entire room she enters without using a flashlight. Elize looked at the ceiling again and pasted the camera on it.  Lucian just followed and watching what Elize was doing.

'You will be doomed here, return home, Elize,' said Lucian.

Every room has a camera hidden by Elize. It's just little and not just perceptible. Elize kept positioning the camera.  Even in the bathrooms. Elize hid in sight of the light in the distance, a guard was patrolling the whole building.

When the guard came by, Elize looked round again. She went slowly towards the room. On the door, the name can be read.

She slowly unlocked the door, nobody as expected. Elize's good at avoiding cameras, Elize's got rigged footage, and she's controlling it with her phone.
