Chapter Seventeen: The Beginning
"Great, you're cool there," said Lucian.
Suddenly, Elize looked towards Lucian's seat. Elize pressed hard on the brake and the car almost rolled over. Lucian was also shocked by what happened and went back to being invisible.
Elize looked in the passenger seat, but the man sitting next to her was gone.
"What is that?" Elize said into the air.
She looked around the car but saw no one else in the car except her.
She was struck by a blow to the window of the car. East frowned while standing outside the vehicle. She immediately opened the car's door and came out of it. She went around the car, but there was no one there.
"What happened El?" asked East, watching Elize with confusion. "I waved, but you ignored me, so I had to chase the car and you slammed on the brakes."
Holding Elize's head, she noticed that East's handsome face was sweating

Dark goes to the last human he's supposed to claim, a young woman who's dying in the hospital. The young woman stood beside the doctor to examine the situation of the young girl. "Do you think you'll survive?" The woman looked at Dark. Dark noticed that the woman was somewhat uncomfortable with him. They watched as the doctor left, they followed him with their gaze until they left the room with the nurses. A lot of tubing is attached to the woman. There's also a machine on the side, and oxygen. Elize ran fast and came close to Gavin. The man was hiding right behind the big trash when Elize came near him. "Your big guy and you're hiding!" said Elize. The man looked towards her. He got a bit surprised to see her. Gavin pulled Elize so she could sit beside Gavin. "What are you doing here you might even get hurt." Gavin said. Elize was about to respond when Gavin abruptly pulled her up and they ran faster. Gavin dragged Elize and they run together. Gunmen are following them. They arrived at the alley where there were many people. They stopped and hid among the crowd of people who were busy collecting water from the well. Elize couldn't resist staring at him. He was sweating and gasping for breath. 'Seriously? Even though he's sweating, he's still handsome.' Elize thought. Elize looked at their hand as well. Elize couldn't understand what she felt anymore. When somebody saw them, they immediately yelled at Gavin.

When they left the convenience shop, the men were still there. They walk normally when they run into women. "Ahhh!" Women cry out. Gavin and Elize got caught. Women were blocking them. The men have reversed course. "Gavin, it's you!" the women scream. And men rushed to them. Gavin quickly took hold of Elize's hand. They went through the public market. It was so crowded, it was difficult for Elize and Gavin to run fast. Several times, they have collided with these people. They found an abandoned building in the marketplace and quickly hid in it. Elize looked over at Gavin as she looked outside the building. Gavin is staring at Elize. When Elize saw that the man was quiet, she looked up to him. "Being a womanizer will screw you up.
