Chapter Twenty Three: Saving Gavin
Elize ran fast and came close to Gavin. The man was hiding right behind the big trash when Elize came near him.
"Your big guy and you're hiding!" said Elize.
The man looked towards her. He got a bit surprised to see her. Gavin pulled Elize so she could sit beside Gavin.
"What are you doing here you might even get hurt." Gavin said.
Elize was about to respond when Gavin abruptly pulled her up and they ran faster. Gavin dragged Elize and they run together. Gunmen are following them. They arrived at the alley where there were many people. They stopped and hid among the crowd of people who were busy collecting water from the well.
Elize couldn't resist staring at him. He was sweating and gasping for breath.
'Seriously? Even though he's sweating, he's still handsome.' Elize thought.
Elize looked at their hand as well. Elize couldn't understand what she felt anymore. When somebody saw them, they immediately yelled at Gavin.<
