Severely injured
Scott is now lying on a bed in his room, with Elvina by his side. He has a high fever because of the beatings he received from Stephen and Elvina is worried about him. He is barely talking and he is sleeping for the past few hours. Elvina decided to beg Stephen to let her out of the house for some medical herbs. They don't have any herbs to treat wounds this severe.
Slowly she made her way out of the room and walked towards Stephen, who is busy reading a scroll. She cleared her throat to catch his attention.
Stephen glared at her with annoyance.
"Now what do you want? Is it not enough that I beat the hell out of your husband? Do you want some too?" he asked impatiently.
Elvina wanted to kick Stephen for hurting her husband. But she is weak and is no match for him. So she bit her cheek to control her anger.
