I know the moment Stella is back, so once Nora runs out of my office, down the stairs and out of the packhouse I make my way to our room wanting to fix what Nora just did and take her out on our date however Stella is not in our room. I look around and notice that the closet light is on.

I enter, look around again, and notice that a few of Stella’s dresses, skirts, and blouses are missing. I smile to myself as I see that all her jeans are still here. So even though she is mad at me, she is still doing what I asked; I close my eyes and feel for our mate bond and smile again at the fact that she is still on the floor.

Not that she really had anywhere else she could go as once I had found out that her dad had done a runner, I had allowed one of the warriors whose mate had just given birth to their first pup, the cottage...
