"She must have fallen asleep while waiting for me.", Prem smiled and walked towards the sofa.

He picked her up in his arms, even though he had zero energy in his body. He just couldn't let her sleep there uncomfortably or he had no heart to wake her up.

He made his way to his bedroom and placed her gently on the bed. When her back touched the softness against her skin, her eyes jerked open and looked at him. He immediately removed his hands from her shoulder and stepped back.

Her hazel eyes shone under the bed light as she stared at him silently.

"At least tell me now, why did Sahana call you at this time?", she asked him in an anxious tone.

"Someone related to her ran into an accident and the person bled heavily. The blood group is rare and couldn't be found at the hospital. Luckily his blood group and mine are the same so she called me for blood donation.", he explained calmly. His arm was aching a bit but he didn't show it on his face.
