Shocked

CHAPTER TWO

Damon clenched his fists as he kept them from landing on Elevena's face. If it had been someone else, he would have been dead and lying on the ground by now.

Because he couldn't do anything in front of so many people, he was doing his best to keep his inner wolf's rage in check, but that didn't mean he wouldn't do something later.

As they considered the upcoming entertainment, the girls smiled as they looked at Elevena. Everyone was waiting for Damon's response, knowing that he would not let her go easily after being humiliated like this.

"Ouch," Peter murmured, "I told you she's not an easy target."

Ignoring Peter's remarks, Damon yelled angrily, grabbing Elevena's elbow tightly to make her look straight in his eyes, "HOW DARE YOU?!!"

"Do you have any idea who I am or what I am capable of doing to you?"

“No! Nor  I'm not interested in wasting my time learning about some jerk's biography," she said as she jerked her arm free from his grip, but was surprised by his strength. She tried again, but it was in vain, as it had been the previous time.

Elevena wondered why he was so strong as if it wasn't normal human strength.

But before she could notice anything, Damon let go of her arm as he didn’t want to create a scene in front of many people, and she began walking towards the principal's office, ignoring every gaze on her.

Boys were laughing because they wanted to see Damon in the same situation that he had been putting them in for years. They hated it when their girls flaunted over him while ignoring them, but seeing someone ignoring Damon today gave them peace of mind.

"This lass..." Damon grinned as he told Peter, "In five minutes, I want her every detail, including everything she does."

"So, the fun has finally begun!" Peter smiled as he nodded his head.

"Shut up or you'll be the first to die at my hands, not hers."

…..

Elevena was irritated because her first day had been ruined by some psycho self-obsessed guy. She couldn't believe how someone could be so arrogant and go to such lengths to steal someone's first kiss.

She took a deep breath and knocked on the principal's door, and a voice said, "Come in."

As she walked in, she bowed respectfully and said, "Good morning, Sir."

“Morning. Oh, you're Elevena Hale, our new transfer student, aren't you?" Principal asked with a smile.

"Sir, yes!" "And I'm here to get my student identity card," she said, smiling back.

"Sure, please take a seat first as I'd like to discuss some details with you before you begin your formal studies from here."

Eleven nodded and was about to take her seat when the door slammed shut with a thud. She flinched, shocked, and turned around to see what had happened.

"Yoo, Mr. Principal.  How are you doing?" Damon asked as he entered, opening the door with his leg as rudely as he could.

He completely ignored Elevena's presence and sat in the seat in front of her, his legs crossed over the table in front of the principal. He took a cigarette from his pocket and started smoking.

Elevena was taken aback. How could he storm into the principal's office like this, then smoke in front of him as if nothing had happened?

"Damon, do you want something?" the principal inquired.

Damon thought to himself as he looked at Elevena's stunned expression, 'Now you know what authority I have in this college.'

To make matters worse, he said, "Yes, I do want something, but first how about you offer me your seat, as you can see this seat isn't very comfortable, and I'm also very tired.  So, Mr. Principal, what are your thoughts?"

"How can you tal-" Elevena began, but was cut off by Principal. "Of course. Please take a seat."

"But principal-" she tried again, but was cut off by the principal again "It's all right, Elevena."

“But-“

"Enough!" exclaimed the principal, slightly loudly.

"I'm sorry, Sir."

Damon smirked at her and walked over to the principal's chair. He sat on it with his legs straight on the table, smoking a cigarette.

Elevena was fuming with rage. She knew he was doing it for a reason; first, he caused a commotion outside, and now he was here to ruin the rest of her day.

"Who exactly is she?" Damon inquired, pointing his cigarette at Elevena, who coughed.

"Her name is Elevena Hale, and she's a new transfer student," said the principal.

"So, Miss Hale," Damon began, looking at Elevena with a smirk on his face, "you still think you're going to get in here after what you did in the hall?"

She was taken aback. Who he thinks he is and what authority he believes he has to ask her this question.

"What the hell?  Who do you think you are, and what right do you think you have to ask me questions when it is obvious that you took advantage of me.  But it appears you haven't learned your lesson," she concluded, smirking and pointing to her bottle in hand.

Her smirk was like balm to his wound. He clenched his fists and growled angrily. When the principal noticed him losing control, he quickly stepped forward and said, "Damon, she didn't know that you-"

But before he could finish his sentence, Damon threw files at him, saying, "SHUT UP! DID I MENTION YOU CAN TALK?!?"

"I-I apologize."

Elevena's jaw was hung open. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw what she was seeing. The most respectful person in the entire college was being humiliated in this manner, and instead of evicting Damon, he apologized to him.

'Who in the world is this Damon?' Elevena wondered.

But, regardless of who he is, he has no right to treat anyone in this manner. If he treats the principal in this manner, imagine what he would do to a commoner like me. I can't let him ruin my entire college experience like this.

"So, Miss... umm... never mind, I forgot what your name was. But where were we?" Damon stated.

"Oh, it's fine. But yes, we were in the hall where a random girl threw water directly on your ugly face," Elevena retorted sarcastically. "But, for real, I'd like to know how it felt."

Damon got up from his seat furiously after hearing her, slamming the chair against the wall so hard that it almost broke in parts, making Elevena shiver with fear.

She had no idea how he did it or where he got his superhuman strength.

He stomped towards her, but she must have been lucky because the door burst open, revealing Peter. He was in a hurry, and his breathing was erratic.

"We have to leave. She's back!" exclaimed Peter as he stormed in.

“What? Already!!”

Damon nodded as Peter shrugged. "Consider this your first and last lucky day," he said as he drew Elevena's chin, "because you won't be lucky the next time we meet."

He quickly left with Peter after saying this.

“Humph! Who wants to meet a psycho like you again?" Elevena mumbled.

She looked at the principal, who was too embarrassed to say anything and left without making the situation any worse or more awkward for him. "I'll come back to collect my card again," she said. "Have a nice day, ahead!"
