Sorry for being selfish

Today was the day that Noah would finally learn the truth about his mother and father. I knew going in that it wouldn't be an easy task, but I was determined to come back having accomplished what I set out to do. I took him to a place where there was no one else around but the two of us and explained to him that his parents had been destined to die and that no one was to blame for their passing.

He laughed at me and said that I was the same as everyone else because I had taken Damon's side in the argument. This sort of behavior was to be expected, and I can't say that I blame him for saying it.
