CHAPTER THREE

“ Do we have a deal? Brianna asks the driver and the driver nods his head and they shake hands.

“ Your account number? Brianna says .

“ My account number? Are you paying the 8M now? He asked.

“No, part payment of the deal to show you that I mean business “ she says and the driver smiles and quickly called the account number for her and not long his cellphone beeps and it was a message from Brianna and it was an alert of two million naira.

“ Two...... he pauses and looks around and he leans forward to him and said “ Two million naira?!” he asks happily

“ Yes, if you do a good job, You will get your balance and travel to Atlanta with your family” Brianna says.

“ Alright ma, just make sure you call me and explain to me how you want us to go about it” he says.

“ No problem, I will call you by night “ she says and she calls the waiters and she pays with her ATM and she stood up and leaves the driver at the restaurant while the driver was so happy and he picks up the remaining beer and he drinks it before leaving the restaurant.

Present day.

He drove on the highway and not long he diverted away from the route to the church while Evelyn was on her phone uploading a picture of her in her wedding dress on her watsapp status by the time she would lift her face she doesn't know where they are again.

“ Sir, this isn’t the route to the church? She says and the driver didn't even bulge, he keeps on driving and she pushes her body forward from the back seat and tap the driver but the driver didn't answer and he turns to another route and she became scared and the driver remembers that she still has her cellphone in her hand and he stops the car and he locks the car door automatically.

“ Give your phone to me” the driver says and she shifts back and tries hiding the phone and the driver hits her face twice with his palm and he drags out her cell phone from her hand.

Evelyn parent and the groom and the brides maids are already at the church waiting for her and the driver switch off his phone and he got out of the car.

He gets out of the car and crushes the phone with his leg and he threw it away while Evelyn struggles to open the car door.

The driver enters into the car and he drove her to somewhere high while he there is a valley below and he gets out of the car and he looks around and no one was there while Evelyn was shouting for help but no one was there to help her and he took out his cellphone and places it where it can make coverage of what he was doing because this is part of his agreement with Brianna that if he capture his assignment on the camera and send it to her and she sees he did the job for real he would get his balance and travel visa abroad with his family and he opens the car trunk and he brings out a gallon of petrol from the car trunk and he pours it on the car and Evelyn began to beg.

“Please I beg of you” she says weeping, she hit the car window countless times the driver didn’t answer.

The driver stood and stare at her as she was begging and a tear dropped down his face and he says “ I am sorry “ and he couldn't do it and he open the door and said to her.

“ Listen, I want to help you out but promise me, you wont go to the church, you will just go away, I can’t do this assignment ” he says.

“ Thank you” she says crying and he helped her out of the car and she falls down and he helped her up and the sound of a car approaches them.

“We need to go, I don't want anyone to see us please, I am trying to save you and I also want my family safe and she tries to run but she falls to the ground again due to her long wedding dress and the driver quickly helps her up to her feet and a car parks in front of them, as he was about to turn back another car blocked them and they stood at the middle of the car and three hefty men came out the car that first blocked them and another two hefty men came out of the other car that blocked them at the front and the car door of the back seat open and Brianna comes out of the car dressed glamorous as usual wearing her nine inches shoes as usual and she smiles and takes her steps one by one and smile.

“ I never pack my eggs in one basket, you know, if only you know I hardly trust people then you wouldn’t have tried this with me” she chuckles. “ Anyways I was going to kill you before if you did the job anyways but now that you were going to betray me, your judgement has been made by you” she says.

“ I beg of you please ma, I was going to do your job, please I have a wife and Children” he says and crouched to his knees to beg.

“ Don’t worry, the two million I paid to you will be enough for your funeral” she says.

“ Please, I beg of you” the driver began to beg and weep and sweating while Evelyn was also begging even though she does not know why she was begging her. Evelyn never met with Brianna, she has only heard of her name from Manuel but never knew her.

“ Please don't kill us, please” and Brianna burst into laughter and she looks at Evelyn.

“ You want to dine with the devil but you do not have a long spoon? How do you expect to eat? Brianna asks and laughs wickedly again.

I know you do not know me but I know you" Brianna says and she turns to her men" force them back into that car" she says with a straight face.

"Evelyn, I want to hear you scream in pain, you must have been enjoying my ex husband in bed when he squeezes you hard in our ex bed"she laughs and said "Ex bed, sounds funny right?she says.

"It's now time for me his ex wife to hear you scream in pain" she says and laughs out loud.
