Chapter 13

Bea had prepared a presentation for their office meeting today with the stakeholders. She was one of the candidates who would almost certainly be promoted if it went well yet she missed the opportunity since she was unable to attend. The reason why is that, she secretly followed Austin and found out that he is meeting her ex-girlfriend, Lauren inside a restaurant.

Bea's hands clenched into a fist in an attempt to keep her cool as she watched her fiancee with his ex-girlfriend smile from ear to ear. She's curious as to what they're discussing that made them so happy. Nonetheless, rather than intervening and confronting them both, she turned and walked away in silence.

Leaving would be the very least she could do to avoid embarrassing herself. If only she will let her emotion take over, she'd storm into that restaurant, yell at the both of them, and slap their faces. She felt deceived knowing that they are meeting behind her back. Since when they are doing it? She was a bold woman but w
