Chapter 19

Bea was awakened when she felt herself being lifted by someone and placed on the couch. As she opened her eyes, Evan's puffy eye's met hers. His face is too close as if it was a dream. He looks like an angel who came to save her.

"Sorry, Did I wake you up?"

His baritone voice was soothing. Bea promptly sat up upon realization that Evan was the angel she was talking about. It is not a dream! Because of her immediate movement, their heads collide.

"Ah!"

They both whimpered in unison and caresses their heads.

"Your head is a stone."

Evan commented.

"Sorry. "

She apologized to him and innocently placed her right hand and caresses the part he got hurt. She thought doing so would ease his pain but when their gazes met, Bea was taken aback by reality. She immediately removed her hands from his head and fixed her posture. That was awkward.

"Uhm..."

"It's already five-thirty in the morning, you just got home?"
