Chapter 23

"We are here!"

Simon unbuckled his seatbelt and went out of the car. After minutes of driving, they finally arrived at My Home, which is a shelter for orphans. Every month, Simon usually visits the children to check their health for free. If there is something he loves about his profession is that he is able to help the children for free.

"Let's go?"

Bea walks next to him as they enter the premises.

"Simon!"

A nun rushingly ran towards them and greeted him with a hug.

"Mother Esther."

"How have you been?"

The nun examined Simon from head to toe, like a mother checking her own son.

"I'm fine, Mother Esther. I should be the one asking you. You seemed to have lost weight"

"Did I lose weight?"

The nun examined herself placing both palms to her cheeks but Simon chuckled. Bea feels like she had seen the nun somewhere before.

"I was just teasing you. By the way, I brought someone with me."

Simon holds Bea in her arms. The nun turned her gaze at her and smiled. Bea was too stunned to speak
