Chapter 24

Bea is walking blankly in the street, with no definite direction to go. She was still soaked wet from the water Anna splashed on her but she didn't care. Her mind is clouded with a lot of thoughts she couldn't control from flowing. She just wanted to go somewhere alone to free her mind so she escaped from the scene. She stopped when she saw a bench chair made of wood and sat on it. She heaves a deep sigh as Evan's face flashes in her mind.

His eyebrows are furrowed together, his lips formed into a thin and straight line, and his eyes speak disappointment as he stares into her eyes, showing her an exasperated expression. Bea suddenly feels guilty of what she did. It was Anna who started it, she wanted to say but no words came out of her mouth.

"Are you okay?"

Evan asked and held onto Anna's arm. From the way he looks at her, indicates that Evan cares for her.

"Evan, I just wanted to be friends with Bea but she suddenly got furious and smeared me with dirt."
