“It's okay, dear,” Mum patted my back gently as I sulked to myself while sitting on my bed.

“I'm sorry, I didn't get to keep my promise… I just couldn't--”

“Shhh! It's okay dear,” Mum hugged me while Dad kept on rubbing the back of my hand and smiled at me softly.

“We know you didn't start the fight first,” Dad said, and I nodded.

At least I still have my parents who trust me so much, that's more than enough.

“Goodnight dear,” Mum said, finally standing up from my bed and walking closer to Dad, who wrapped his hands immediately around her waist as they smiled at me.

“Goodnight mum, dad,” I responded and lay on my right side staring at them.

“We love you,” They both said and began walking towards the entrance of my room and close the door behind them quietly when they were outside.

“I love you both,” I whispered and sat on my bed immediately.

I grabbed my glasses from the drawer and picked up my phone… I scrolled through the apps on my phone and clicked on Netflix.
