**Elizabeth's POV**

I cried until I fell asleep.

Half asleep, I thought I saw Elroy coming to tuck me in and kiss me on the forehead.

"My doll, my mate, we will never be apart."

What did he call me? Mate? I didn't take it seriously. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

It was dark when I woke up.

Tears and sleep are amazing medicines. I feel much better now. I don't hate myself as much as I did this morning.

It is no use regretting what you have done wrong. The only thing I can do is not make the same mistake again.

"Caleb, wait for me. I will soon leave here to find you."

I kissed the ring, then got up and asked my maids to give me some food. I haven't eaten anything all day.

While I was eating, it occurred to me that the wounded Winged Wolf who lived in the old house had not eaten all day.
