Mia's POV

I was sitting in my study, engrossed in my work, when the doorbell rang. I glanced at the clock and wondered who could be visiting at this hour. As I made my way to the front door, a sense of curiosity mingled with apprehension.

Opening the door, I froze in disbelief. Standing before me was a woman who bore an uncanny resemblance to me. Her eyes held a mixture of anger and determination, and her presence exuded an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Mia," she said, her voice dripping with venom. "Or should I say, sister?"

I stumbled back, my mind racing to process the information. A sister? How was that possible? I had grown up believing I was an only child, and now this woman claimed to be my long-lost twin.

"Who are you?" I managed to ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

She smirked, relishing in the element of surprise she had created. "I am Cassandra. The sister you never knew you had. The sister you abandoned."
